Ended up having to work from home today and not having a commute meant I was able to get the backbox sanded and make a trip to the hardware store for sandpaper and paint before the kids went to bed. The littles were great helpers at Menards.
I did a round of wood filling with KwikWood, there is quite a lot of damage but I think I’ll only have a few small places to touch after I sand this round down. Hoping to have it primed and ready for painting black by the weekend.
Lastly, I did something I’ve been considering for a few days. On the coin door door I masked off and sanded the Williams logo down to metal. I love it. I’m going to try a similar approach with the shooter plate, just sanding out the front edge.
