It took quite a lot of work today but I finished the cabinet!
- Finished polishing metal rails, etc
- Installed rails
- Stapled in ground braid throughout
- Installed flipper and credit buttons
- Installed wire harness and all switches
- Assembled and installed the shooter
- Installed cable clips
Laying the ground braid was tedious and I needed more than what I bought, so I used about 5 additional feet from the original machine. I let that sit in evaporust for a couple hours and it cleaned up pretty well.
I also modified the backbox speaker panel and installed two new speakers. I had to cut a larger hole on one side and re-drill for the t nuts. Came out perfectly.
I’ve decided to bite the bullet and repaint the backbox to match the cabinet. Since there is a lot of waiting during that process I will use the time to get Shadow up and running and cleaned and waxed. I am going to try not going overboard, but I may get sucked into repairing the Sanctum 🙂
