This evening I sanded and scraped back into the cabinet to dull the paint areas and also to create more imperfections. This needed to be done before I could go back over it with more paint.
After everybody went to bed I managed to get the first round of texture black on. The goal is to further mute the graphics and to create more faux weathering and to control the composition.
It’s hard taking photos of black cabinets with my phone but I am liking where this is at. I’ve landed on an approach for what will go over this and I think it’s going to work out great over what I did tonight.
