Finally mustered up the courage to start rebuilding the drops on Sinbad. I started with the single bank of four. Disassembled most of it and then cleaned everything thoroughly. Replaced the targets with new ones and put everything back together. Made some mistakes along the way but in the end it seems good. Won’t be able to test for sure until everything is back together.
The other large assembly has 6 targets in total (1,2,3) and i’ve got that disassembled. Didn’t finish cleaning the parts still connected to the playfield or the other large parts. I managed to lose a spring along the way and also lost 20min looking for it. I am going to cannibalize Team One for a replacement.
All in all, I’m excited to unlock a new pinball achievement. It’s really the last common mech that I hadn’t rebuilt. Flippers were my first, then pop bumpers, now this.
Excited to rebuild my Surf Champ drops once this is done. They really need it.
