Flipper buttons cleaned, bushings replaced

I had actually purchased replacement buttons for Surf Champ but I like the tone of red in the older ones better and they cleaned up nicely. It’s fun to have little one night projects like this to do every once in a while—a good break from the long timeline projects I have going like Big Guns.

I also managed to sand and repaint the blue metal arc for Space Mission and paint the bottom edges of the Big Guns cab. Unfortunately i’m going to have to sand and put another coat on Big Guns main panels. The finish is not what i hoped and after all this effort it doesn’t make sense to cut corners. Light sanding with 500 grit and one or two more coats should do it. Hopefully Menards has replenished their stock so i can get the paint!
