Spent about two hours block sanding this playfield after dropper filling valleys and a coat of clear. It’s NEARLY flat, but i managed to sand off a bit of paint in one area (damn!) but i think it’s mostly hidden during game play so i may just leave that. It’s really tough to get these things dead flat. You can see in the photo, basically everything that’s dull is flat, and the shiny highlights are reflections in the valleys. I’m going to do another dropper fill tonight (so tedius!). I will really need to do 2 full coats before i try and knock down overfills or i risk sanding too far again. This thing is going to look great and play even better.
