Little updates from work I did.
- Put another fill coat on the Shadow sanctum.
- Cleaned the used Gottlieb 3-bar chime unit I’m going to use on Spanish Eyes, and figured out how to wire it properly.
- Cleaned the score reels on Spanish Eyes while i had the backglass off.
- Fussed with the Space Mission flippers again, made some headway with the left but the right continues to frustrate. Going to put in some wavy washers and try to re-align the mech so it’s more square. Considering putting this machine on high-tap.
I was already planning on getting a new Spanish Eyes backglass because mine has major flaking where each of the bulbs were. The bare lights were distracting me so much during play (after replacing all the bulbs), so today I tried to touch it up and it turned out terrible. Looks not-so-good when the pin lights aren’t on, but absolutely terrible when it’s back-lit. Ultimately I think I prefer this over bare lights at eye level, but crap. Don’t know how long it will take to get the replacement but i can’t wait.
