I haven’t had much time to work on pinball, but tonight i did a couple of things. I laid out all of the switches and parts for the front flippers so they are ready to wire up. I also sanded and deglossed all of the low spots on Space Mission. That was tedius work but now it’s ready for a second coat.
I find most pinball tasks fairly meditative. Cleaning, polishing, sanding, etc. Wiring and soldering for me require more direct focus and are sometimes kind of stressful when so many contacts are close together and i’m connecting old wires from the playfield at strange angles. I need to be rested and sharp to enjoy that kind of work. Hopefully this weekend!
