One of the first few Grocer paintings – a small and a large bunch of asparagus. The asparagus sketch shown below was what started the entire Grocer thing, but it wasn’t my first painting.
These were both pasted up somewhere near Milwaukee and Damen in Wicker Park. The small one I put up near a Rejoice piece. In the early days I followed him around a bit.
