I now have all the plastics and plastic ramps installed. All I’ve got left now are 4 wireforms to polish, wax, and install. Then it’s putting the apron on, installing the flipper bats, then it’ll be playable.
There is still a list of more cosmetic/mod type things i want to finish after that, but once i iron out any switch issues or bugs i’ll be quickly moving on to Team One. Other stuff i’ll do to Taxi soon:
Lighted flipper buttons, legs – this is mostly complete but i need to install the socket and bulb and connect the rest of the matrix wiring. I may just do this before i drop the playfield in the cab. I have new legs and stuff that i’ll put on before i move it to the arcade row also.
Speaker upgrade – i’ve sorted how the wiring needs to be, but i’ve still got a number of tasks to do.
- Wiring up the L-pad volume control for backbox speakers.
- Purchasing and installing an 8″ woofer in the cab (rather than the 6.5″ one i have now).
- Installing the crossover for the cab speaker
- Rewiring all speakers with the new harness
- Rewiring new wires to the audio board
