Big Guns cabinet paint prep

I ended up spray priming the cabinet last night, but there were a couple places that I filled with putty and forgot to sand down, so I finished sanding those spots out and would have finished priming too if it weren’t for the heavy mist outside.

I sanded out the coin door parts and nailed them up to a board for spraying. I’m going to prime these parts and then spray a textured black that should pretty well approximate the factory finish.

I also cleaned up the transistor, sanding out rust and cleaning up the wires. I’m going to prime, then paint that glossy black as well. I’m getting close to putting the bottom panel back into the cab and I want to put the transistor in at the same time.
