Metal metal metal
Spent a good long time polishing these metal parts from Shadow. Very happy with how they came out. Now everything is ready to go back on the machine. Reassembly starts tonight.

Cleaning Shadow parts
Spent about 4 hours cleaning and organizing parts. Still need to polish metals, but screws, posts, plastics, and other various crap is clean and polished and ready to go.

Shadow ready to wax and reassemble
LED’d under the playfield and in the backbox. Cleaned the entire playfield with naphtha, then cleaned with novus 2 and then wiped down with naphtha again and a dry towel. Playfield looks really good so now it’s time to wax. I’ll be putting some new mylar down in a couple of areas – the sanctum…

Shadow cleaning and sanctum repair
I finished tearing down Shadow as far as i was going to go. Vacuumed up the old dust and then cleaned with heavy duty citrus degreaser. Removed the mylar that was over the previous sanctum damage and then cleaned up the damage down to solid wood. Carefully sanded the damaged area to roughen it up…
