I’ve been taking my time rebuilding most of the mechs on this machine. There are a few more kickers to do that are still under the playfield, and of course the pops, but the big ones are done.

I figured out a solution for finding all the through holes in the playfield that were covered up with the overlay. It’s going to work for me to poke a very thin pin from the underside just to visibly locate each hole (not through the overlay and CC, just enough to see the surface raise a bit. Then i’ll mark it with a sharpie up top. I am going to color code the sharpie dots relative to drill hole size so i can make pretty quick work of it when i am actually drlling the holes from the playfield side.

I broke down the bell and some other grimy cabinet parts. The inside of the cab is pretty dirty near the front of the machine, so i really want to get that cleaned up while i’m doing all this other work.
I am going to work a bit slower now as i’ve decided to alternate pinball and painting nights.
