HOTBOX show

I got asked to make a few paintings for a mobile art gallery called the HOTBOX. The idea was that each month a different artist or group of artists would paint it, and then the inside would be a little gallery show/store or whatever. The theme was “Corner Store” and I made a big watermelon and some lady carrot legs and a bunch of eggplants for it. I don’t have great photos of the finished truck – I was busy and just handed my papers off and i think my friend Nice One pasted them. At the opening there was a really really fun band performing called Sidewalk Chalk, who i later hired to play our office Christmas Party.
