BAM! (Taxi!)
I now have all the plastics and plastic ramps installed. All I’ve got left now are 4 wireforms to polish, wax, and install. Then it’s putting the apron on, installing the flipper bats, then it’ll be playable. There is still a list of more cosmetic/mod type things i want to finish after that, but once…

Swooning for Taxi
Unfortunately, Taxi is not playable just yet. Problems to fix 🙁 For the record, what makes this not playable: Lots more tweaking to do aside from that but VERY exciting!

Cleaned Taxi flat plastics
Novus 2 and 1 on all the flat plastics. I need to assemble the connected plastics and the decorative mini posts and figure out where I am potentially missing posts. I was able to attach one of the small plastics and it was quite satisfying. Only plastic parts left to clean are the spinout ramp…

More taxi playfield repop progress
Got all the metal and rubber parts on the playfield. If all goes well I could be playing this weekend, but I’m not counting on it! In other news, my workshop is a frickin mess.

Taxi posts puzzle, it’s tricky
It’s been mildly stressful finding and drilling holes in this playfield but I’ve got nearly all of the metal parts on now. What I have left is the tricky stuff. I have to figure out where all the long posts and hex posts go and there isn’t any documentation. I failed to get proper photos…

Taxi interconnect board fixed, playfield progress
Lots more in on the playfield and having tons of fun now that I have a boatload of new machine screws in different sizes and lengths. I paid my oldest son to do the board work. He replaced two resistors and made a molex connector from the GI wires that are soldered directly to the…

Taxi: moving along
Got a bunch more installed tonight. Lane guides, two ball gates, and quite a few posts. I’m realizing that I need to replace broken screws and I probably don’t have everything I need. Hopefully it’s stuff I can get at the hardware store. Still, it’s looking amazing. Calling it a night cause my computer ran…
