The Grocer, first works

In the summer of 2007, I began making original fruit and veggie themed paste-ups and installing them on derelict walls in Chicago under the moniker “The Grocer.” At the time, these acrylic paintings on paper gave me a cathartic outlet that the “serious” paintings I was doing at the time didn’t provide. Below are some of the first works I put on the streets.
